Envision vs. 2018 Terrain

I had a chance to sit in both the Envision and 2018 Terrain. I do feel the Envision is more premium in a way than the 2018 Terrain for sure on the inside. I have yet to test drive them out though. I was really surprised that the terrain doesn't even have the laminated glass anymore which I'm a little thrown off as well as how the interior materials don't follow through the back door panels. The push button transmission does feel more airy for sure. The Envision does have the sliding seats which the terrain ditched assuming to save weight? I was also really surprised that the terrain doesn't even have adaptive cruise but somehow they still have active park assist.

We still have our 2015 Terrain before it goes back on lease end. The rear sliding seat is nice in both Envision and old Terrain as it frees up more cargo in the rear. The acoustic glass on the old was just the windshield and the front side window . Occasionally I could hear noise coming through the non-scoustic area behind my ear.

The Equinox doesn't get adaptive cruise control either. It is part of the Driver Confidence Package only the Envision Premium ll.

I think you can get a better deal on a 2016 Envision Premium l with AWD and 2.0T.

I just don't know if at this point if both the quinoa and terrain will have adaptive cruise soon? Or if they just going to only have it on the Envision? I'm thinking about both the premium 1 and 2 but that's IF Buick decides to put in some discounts on the 2.0T instead of the 2.5

There is usually almost $10,000 off on both engines on cars.com. just search your area. Even some with a couple thousand miles that are considered new.

A 2018 Equinox 2LT FWD comes with 2.0T for as low as $23,000-24,000 on cars.com. That would be cloth seats and hardly any options. The Premier goes up to $36,000-37,000 for 2.0T AWD and nicer 8" screen with Android Auto. That is Buick Envision territory but without the longer Buick warranty.

$10,000 off the MSRP? That's a steal for the Buick envision, maybe bargain a bit more if it has a few thousand miles on the clock.

Less than 30 miles is brand new. There one with 16 miles. Those are Premium l for $33,000. Used go up over 10K miles for less than $30,000.

How I usually do is just buy it brand new for the sake of not having any problems. I like to have a new car smell instead of them putting on random fragrances on the car

I usually average buying one car per year. Even with a couple thousand miles on the odometer they still smell and drive like new. Plus I can save thousand more on a used one usually.

We saved around $14,000 over MSRP on a Envision Prem ll with 3,000 miles on it and it included CPO'S longer warranty. It was a GM Executive driven car. I don't mind a few thousand miles as if there were problems during assemble the previous owner has already worked them out.
