Did get a car wash (big whoop), and so far A/C works as expected. But I do have another gripe.
My car is Premium II AWD, and going around a corner while accelerating, there is at times a shuddering feeling, as if the front and back wheels are not working together as they should. This isn't a deal breaker, but for the money, it should work better. However, after researching this problem, it seems that it might be major surgery to fix this AWD problem, which is apparently not uncommon to many AWD cars, and I'm just not ready for another extended hassle with the dealer service dept. right now.
The loaner the dealer gave me was FWD, and it steered and performed much smoother than my AWD. I'll know better next time.

add me to the list of this problem. The part is apparently backordered for months. Great for a summer drive for the kids. Early 2016 build PremII

This was my first Buick, and I had high hopes for it. Priced higher than it should have been, versus some comparable vehicles, but nice styling and good interior look. However, with these problems that have surfaced, it's looking like it probably will be my last.

I get the light isolation at 12-17 mph under light acceleration too. I believe it is the result of the wheel/tire combination and/or soft bushing or the Hyperstrut setup. It seems to lessen when the temperatures drop.

What are you tire pressures? Mine are 38 psi all the way around.

@NormT- I experience the shuddering at about the same speed and acceleration as you describe. My tire pressures are 35 all around. These low profile tires look more modern and supposedly offer better performance, but IMHO they don't ride as quietly and smoothly as some tires of yesteryear.

The Hankook Noble S2...or whatever they are called...I wasn't pleased with when I got the car in March. But temperatures are 75° F or higher they really shine. Almost like a performance all season tire. I think they really complement the vehicle well as Car & Driver recorded 159 ft from 60 mph in braking which is about as good as you get in a 4,000 cuv. Consumer Reports tested the Envision braking to be very good and the collision avoidance test to +55 mph, or right is a Porsche Macan.

The 19" wheel on the Premium models look to be very heavy and don't help tire performance over the rough stuff.

When it was colder in March I didn't have the isolation but as miles piled on it grew more noticeable. But in June we had one morning g in the 50's and the isolation subsided. I'll probably lower tire pressures before it cools in the fall to test the soft bush ming theory. I have the info to check transmission fluid level too, but haven't yet after the cooler morning findings.

I data logged the torque converter and watched trans temperatures but found nothing abnormal.

Update!! More HVAC problems. A/C started blowing hot air out of passenger side vents, while other vents blowing cold, as expected. Syncing had no effect. Changing temp setting on passenger side to lowest setting, no effect. Still blowing hot air. Also, without warning, air starts blowing out of top dash vent (that clears windshield fogging), and no air at all through driver side or passenger vents. Rear air still blows correct temp air. Driver side correct temp. Took it into shop this morning, still in shop tonight, as tech can get his computer to (he said) control all temps and vents correctly, but after disconnecting his computer, the car controls have same problems with wrong temps and wrong vents. So he is supposedly going to get on the phone with an engineer first thing in the morning. Says no one else has had this problem (naturally), so no service guidance to fix it. I will keep everyone updated. Not happy in Texas. (Go Astros!)

Update 2--The dealer service department still cannot determine the cause of my A/C passenger side vent only blowing hot air. They gave me a loaner today, a nice 2018 Terrain. Will see what the week brings. Next car may be Terrain Denali. The new body style looks good. More later when I know more.

Update 3--Now they say they need to replace the "HVAC Module" but don't know when the part will be available. LOL. At least I'm still driving a free loaner (2018 Terrain). Looked at Ford Edge and Ford Flex today. Technology and build quality appear good. Now thinking Flex. The Envision is a lease car, so will just turn it in when lease is up, and in the mean time, probably go ahead and buy a Flex. Being retired, we had downsized to just one car, but rethinking it now. More updates as they occur.

I was going to say if you were waiting to to lease end to lease a Flex, they may not be available. I guess they are very utilitarian and dated but a nice size if you need the space. We picked up a 2017 Acadia Limited (basulically a Denali of the bigger outgoing model) that retailed for $46K for $32K. It is a couple inches longer than a Tahoe/Yukon but about as big interior volume as the come in the crossover segment.

Keep us updated on the HVAC replacement.
