Disappointed in WeatherTech

We purchased WeatherTech floor mats for the front, back and cargo area of the car. This is the 3rd set that I have purchased for 3 different cars. We had to have Brown to match the interior and the Buick set comes only in black. Mind the full set cost ~$320. The back and cargo area fit really well. The front seat mats do not, they slip side to side and there is a gap that I often catch my foot on entry. I reached out to their customer service who in my opinion is not helpful so I wrote the chairman and have yet to hear anything back nor am I expecting too. In any event I would recommend bypassing WeatherTech and getting the Buick version from the dealer. I have seen them and they fit better than these supposedly laser measured ones we purchased. That is our experience with them and in fact it will be our last experience with them.

2018-09-13 I received my Buick statement today and there was an offer attached to purchase online. I am sharing for those who would like the Buick matts.

I have had the weather techs since I bought the car in January and they fit perfect. Love them.

I am glad they worked out for you, they fit terrible in the front of our car so not sure what the deal is but I will never buy WeatherTech again, they didn't stand behind them either.

I find tweeting their twitter account tends to fix issues not resolved from their traditional support channels. Give it a shot. You may be surprised and may even get a free product from them for the inconvenience

I have the full set of the floor liners (including the rear cargo area) and the are fantastic!

Edit: Oops, just saw the other thread where you probably already saw my post about Buick floor liners.

Just want to update for anyone reading. I recently had service where the dealer provided me a '19 Envision. The car had the Buick product version that competes with what WeatherTech sells. I was impressed with the quality of the product and the fit was superior, fitting snugly in the well and covering more area (they are deeper than mine). They also have an embossed pattern and the Buick logo. They only come in black but given the better fit, and equal quality (feel, density, thickness) I should have bought them from my Buick dealer.

I haven't seen the weather techs in person, but the Buick mats look great and have held up well since I got them last summer. I definitely recommend them.

I have been using WeatherTech in cars since my 2002 Envoy. I currently have 5 sets in my family. The full set for my 2016 Acadia fit well in the front, but the back full set was awful. Didn’t fit, moved with feet and the edges tripped people getting in. Customer service sent me a bunch of Velcro that did nothing but damage the carpet. I finally took them out in the rear and put the factory all weather ones back in. The Weather Texh are also pretty hard to get clean. When I test drove my 2019 Envision Premium II it had Buick factory floor liners in it. They look good, fit very well, do a better job of protection, and clean substantially easier. First car in almost 20 years that will not have WeatherTech.
