Has anyone experienced a random shutter or bucking for a few seconds up to maybe 20 seconds? It happens in a straight line while accelerating moderately on smooth road.
We've had this a few times but cannot repeat it for the dealer. All other systems are normal. 45000mi. No lights or codes were set.

I'm not sure what you mean by "shudder bucking" but I have a serious vibration problem with my 2017 Buick Envision (Essence 2WD 4 Cylinders A 2.5L, 68k miles). It happens when driving at highway speeds and only occurs randomly/very occasionally. I get a very strong vibration where the entire vehicle shakes for 5-10 seconds and then stops. I took it to my mechanic and the dealership and neither could do anything since the issue is not reproducible (and there's no "check engine" or any other lights). I haven't been able to track exactly what I was doing when the problem occurs, but this morning it happened when I was in cruise control at ~70 MPH executing a very small turn while hitting a bump on the highway. I tried getting the tires re-balanced and rotated but that didn't help. It's very concerning and seems dangerous. My wife will not drive the car now. I'm very frustrated and do not know what to do.

I have the same "bucking shuddering" problem. Does anyone have the answer/solution???

No answer yet. We had a few more incidents. Approximately 8 so far over the last 3 months. Still can't repeat it at will.

I have had it at least that many instances, but cannot make it happen, or figure out what is going on to make it happen. Hopefully someone here can solve it.

Hi, When I first test drove the envision (That I ended up buying)

This might not be you issue:

The FWD suffers from Wheel Hop: Meaning when under hard acceleration the front wheels will bounce, and it will shake the entire car.I find it to be caused usually invadertantly by putting too much throttle when starting at low speed: for me, when Auto-stop-start is active, and I add excess throttle because of the hesitation on restart. This could happen as well during moderate to hard pulls when the transmission kicks down and breaks the tires free.

I have been driving gently now to conserve fuel, and the issue hasn't happened at all.

I am still having this issue, with probably on average about once incident per week. And, like the others, I cannot repeat it at will.

I'm really frustrated here. My wife is terrified to drive the car. And she's pregnant now with our first child. I'm getting scared about what we are going to do when the baby comes. I definitely don't feel safe driving the car, especially with a newborn in it.

BUICK PLEASE HELP

(BTW, I don't think the issue described by NavalLacrosse is the issue I am having)
