Well it should not be working if you turned it off.
2021 Buick Envision auto stop not working even with it turned on
Hello, I just got a 2021 Buick Envision & noticed that the auto stop feature isn't working even thought it is turned on. Anyone else have a problem like this? It worked in the beginning when I drove it home but then it stopped, but im not sure when since I would always turn it off once I started the car.

But I found out that if the ac is turned on then the auto stop wont work, its weird.Well it should not be working if you turned it off.
That is correct. It may turn off when you stop but if the computers decide that it needs the engine on it will start the engine back up.But I found out that if the ac is turned on then the auto stop wont work, its weird.

The vehicle looks for certain parameters for the auto stop to work. Engine has to be at a certain temperature, oil pressure, ac compressor off, battery charge, etc.
also to note it will only engage once at a stop (if you take foot off brake at stop light it will not engage a second time at one stop)
