Accent lighting question

On my 2021 Envision Avenir, I noticed that all the chrome accents on the doors and dash light up at night. Except the one around the A/C vent on the passenger side. Can anyone tell me if this should also be lit up?

On our 2018 it does light up. I have no idea if the redesign it still does or does not. Perhaps someone with the 2nd generation can respond.

I have a 2021 Envision Avenir, and I noticed the same thing! I find it odd that that one element is not lighting up.

My stepmom has the exact same vehicle. I'll see if hers is the same, but at this point, I'd assume it's by design. It's almost like the passenger is relegated to a second-class citizen. The screen in the front is also pointed away from them. :D
I noticed mine doesn't light up also on my 21 Avenir. If you look closely at those chrome strips that do light up, there is an inlay or translucent section to the chrome trim piece, noticeable near the end of the trim. It isn't there on the piece above the passenger vent. With 3 of the 4 trim pieces lighting up, it looks like something is wrong or missing. Don't know why Buick left it like this.
2022 envision Aviner doesn’t lighten up.
I called the a buick dealer close to me and asked about why there was no light under the passenger a/c and they didn't know the answer. There is a groove or space that looks like one should be there. I've been looking for the part to see if it comes with the light but haven't been successful. I'm going Saturday to have the service dept check it out. Also, when we bought car the sticker inside the door that states the tire pressure was missing. We requested one sent and it was blank! I couldn't believe it.
After going to dealer they advised the passenger vent is under the dash. There is no light as its not part of the top portion of the dash. All that said nothing resolved.
This might be old news,

but there is no illumination on the Pass side of the 22+ Envision

In probably the most specific article in the history of online news articles:
Yes a real shame for this much $$$, ambient lighting should also be on the rear door trim, for the rear passengers to feel the Luxury as the front occupants do, why cheap out Buick? no chrome trim around the rear window controls either or the rear Bose speakers, again, looks bargain basement
It is designed not to light up on the passenger side and I hate that!
