Battery Saver

Hello,

Today the Envision decided to play a new game.
2016 Buick Envision - 52k - 2.0 4cyl Turbo
I drove across town and was heading back and got stopped at a train crossing and had to sit for a few minutes. The auto stop function, stopped the engine for about a minute and then the engine started again, all while depressing the brake pedal (normal operation.)
Also, the park assist enabled because it was a slight incline.
When the train cleared I depressed the accelerator to move forward but the park assist would not release.
I put the vehicle in park and tried to turn off and back on, but the car would not turn off. I tried various combination in order to turn off the car but no luck.
After about 5 minutes sitting in the middle of the road someone offered to push the car, bumper-to-bumper, to get me off the road.
After he pushed me forward the park assist broke free and I was able to drive.
On my way to the dealer, the following warning lights popped on the console:
1) Alert; Battery Saver Active
2) Action Required; Steering Assist is reduced (drive w/ care)
3) Service; Battery Charging System

The best I can figure is that it is a bad battery.
It has been at the dealer all day and they haven't been bother to look at it.
So if it is something simple, like a battery, then I will just go pick it up and do it myself.

Any one have any ideas?

Thanks,
