I need to pull the door panels on my 17 Envision. I want to upgrade the speakers and also add some sound deadening insulation while I'm into it. Do we have access to an online service manual on this site? Or is there a place to download one for either free or reasonable charge?

Any time a front door trim panel is removed for any repair, the two high retention retainers at the upper rear edge of the door trim will be destroyed during removal. There are two of these near the door catch/latch.

I think that might be one of those retainers you have too get a feel for when removing which isn't as clear cut of a process as most clips/retainers.

Guess we're better off buying some of them and keeping on hand just in case.

Could someone please answer the original question? I have done an EXTENSIVE search for a repair manual, just as I have done with all of my vehicles. However, nothing comes up when I search for 'repair or service manual'. Where can I get a repair/service manual?

Check page 333 in your envision owner's manual. It'll give you info on how to order a service manual, but it probably won't be free.
