I notice wind noise as if the driver side window is not sealing. The dealer performed a TSB addressing this however it did nothing. Evidently a gasket in the rearview mirror needs adjustment or bolstering. Like I said it did nothing and my wife and I think it is actually worse. Anyone with the same experience?

I recently bought a 2021 Envision and have noticed the same problem. Nearly every other vehicle has a large plastic covering at the A pillar. However, the Envision has a triangular piece of glass at the A pillar. Today I placed a large towel in that area as I was driving and the wind noise was greatly reduced. Given the current design, it seems the seal at this piece of glass where it borders the front window is insufficient. The wind noise is not terrible, but it is a problem I never experienced on my Volvo and is annoying. The vehicles packs so much value and has much going for it, but this seems a design issue that should have been addressed some time ago.

This is the only real issue I've ever had with my 2021 envision, at least so far. It's not so bad that I can't tune it out, but it's annoying when I notice it.

Sorry to quote myself and respond to something not about the wind noise, but the only other issue I've ever had with my Envision is that the stupid rear buick logo light that you are supposed to be able to "kick" to open the hatch works about 10% of the time :)

I actually brought my vehicle in to the dealer the other day, and a part was ordered. When it is installed, I will see whether the wind noise issue is addressed.

I have noted that the design on the Envision seems different because at the A pillar there is a triangular piece of glass rather than a plastic covering. Looking at other cars on the road, I would guess 95 percent of vehicles have the plastic covering, but there are some Toyota, Lexus and Subaru models that also have glass rather than plastic. I can't believe the Lexus models have the wind noise I am hearing. I am guessing that the trim around the triangular piece of glass, at least on my Envision, is inadequate. Again, let's see what happens after the dealer tries to address the problem. Also, on another thread, there is a video of someone using silicone in this area on another model to eliminate the wind noise.

Wow, I'm not alone.
1. Wind noise is annoying as hell on the driver side.
2. The buick logo thing to open the tailgate works less than 10% of the time for me.
3. The car play / android auto gets all weird when listening to sirius. It switches to the phone and then won't switch back.

Does Buick have a fix for wind noise yet?

The buick logo underneath the back bumper will not work if you move your leg too fast. Also, if the bottom of the car is dirty and the sensor cannot see the movement it won't work. If I sweep my leg side to side one time slowly (there and back) it tends to open almost every time. I don't have the other two problems. I have had no problems with my 2018.

Yes, Louisiana.

The dealer just replaced under warranty the weather strip at the left front-door quarter glass. This action has certainly reduced wind noise. But there is still some wind noise, and I still would not consider the Envision an especially quiet vehicle compared to European-made luxury vehicles. My problem is likely that I drove two Volvos for over 10 years. The Buick has a different feel, and different strengths and weaknesses.

I have a 21 Buick Envision with the same problem, been into the dealership 3 times, had the door adjusted, seal replaced, nothing works, still as noisy as ever. Luckily the car has a good stereo system and if you turn it up a little it drowns out the wind noise.
Don’t use the foot activation system on the tail gate, don’t work most of the time.

My 2021 Envision has been in the shop three times now for the loud wind noise. Believe it or not they actually put ugly black caulk on the door panel under the small corner window and said it was a GM workaround for the noise. It was hiddious and it will just melt when the car heats up. I bought a Buick for the quite ride. They are now trying something new. Car has been in shop for week and half and no loaner cars available. I too have trouble with the rear open kick option it never works and people laugh that I try 4-5 times give up and use the hand button. Hope they got this right for 2022.

I notice wind commotion as though the driver side window isn't fixing. The vendor played out a TSB tending to this anyway it sat idle. Clearly a gasket in the rearview reflect needs change or reinforcing. Like I said it sat idle and my significant other and I think it is more regrettable. Anybody with a similar encounter?

A dealer changed the trim at the small window on the driver's side several months ago--it helped for a short time, but the wind noise returned. I returned to the same dealership twice, which offered no help. I went to a different Buick dealer this morning for oil change and tire rotation, and again complained of the excessive wind noise. I was told that Buick had just made, or was in the process of making, a sealant that would address the problem, and the dealership ordered the sealant for both sides.
