I got mine done on my 23 at the dealer last week. Took three hours. The DRLs (the light strip under the main beams) still remains on when the headlights are on though. So, I think the recall is more based on certain scenarios.
Here’s a link about a recall for DRLs that don’t deactivate for 2021, 2022, and 2023 Envisions.

I'm so pissed. My car was the over 5 hrs. I saw the paperwork stating it takes 20-30 minutes. As an added bonus, my lights no longer auto dim/auto high beam nowI got mine done at the dealership last week too but only an hour and a 1/2.
This update shouldn’t affect the headlights. A dealer did my update on my 2022 and the headlights still auto dim.I'm so pissed. My car was the over 5 hrs. I saw the paperwork stating it takes 20-30 minutes. As an added bonus, my lights no longer auto dim/auto high beam now
When I took my car in for the first service, they did the update while I waited. I had no indication that it was do for the update. Are you guys just doing the update yourselves or doing it because you were notified either by GM contacting you, the Buick app or something popping up on your screen in the car? I'm asking becasue I just bought a 2023 a week ago and am wondering if I need to try to update or wait until I get contacted. Thanks.
A message pops up on my screen whenever there is an OTA update to be performed. I've probably had half a dozen of them in the 2 years I've had the vehicle.
