Found this out today as to option removal....while looking for a new 2023 Avenir ..

Looked at three different dealerships online, in Las Vegas and in Arizona, they all state the same info on the window sticker:......$350 credit NOT EQUIPPED WITH LANE CHANGE ALERT WITH SIDE BLIND ZONE ALERT AND REAR CROSS TRAFFIC ALERT see dealer for details (Beginning October 10, 2022, certain vehicles will be forced to include (00S) Not Equipped with Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert and Rear Cross Traffic Alert, which removes Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert and Rear Cross Traffic Alert. Does not include later dealer retrofit. See the window label for the features on a specific vehicle.),........ So now as to the heated seats, I was told by these three different dealers that they are indeed working, and on the Window sticker the seats were not credited with a later retrofit mentioned. However, I do want the blind zone and rear cross traffic alert. What I seem to have found is that some dealers are discounting these Envisions now ( $5 - $7 off sticker ) maybe because of this issue? What will this will do to later resale values?, all depends on the next buyer wanting these safety features, which is why I was choosing to buy a new 2023......What do you all think folks?

I don't care how much it was discounted, I would not own a daily driver without those features.

Okay, here's a update, I called Buick and spoke directly with them, The Lane change / blind zone side alert and rear cross traffic alert will Not be retrofitted in 2023 ....this is straight from Buick....so we are done as to buying any 2023's that were built after Oct 10 2022....and did Buick care? Nope

Hello All!

If your Monroney Decal Indicates "NOT EQUIPPED", but shows "INCLUDES LATER RETROFIT", you may be good. I say Maybe because the CEO of GM is pushing chip shortages out to 2024 and asking Congress for help. If it only indicates "NOT EQUIPPED", it can not be added later by retrofit: per my salesman.

To Check your build date, it is located on the decal inside the B pillar - driver's side door. (See Pictures)

a year ago we bought an Encore GX ST for our daughter and it has all 3 of these features. I drove it for a few weeks before wr gave it to her as a gift. We were looking at the Envision today and noticed omission of these 3 things. THEY ARE ONLY GIVING A 350.00 credit! Honestly that’s laughable. It’s 2023 and those are 3 things that basically should be standard at this point. To buy a new car without those 3 things is pretty ridiculous. Yeah, the car was $4k off, but it should be much more than that. Buying a car without those things in 2023 is basically like buying a car with roll up windows! So to pay $37k for a car without those things is just sad.
