What is really clear is that your testing method is flawed. The split-type bushing was designed to used on a control arm that has other mounting points and support.

For a through test, mount the control arm on the vehicle then stress test it.

Besides, the fender is dented which means this vehicle was in an accident and components replaced before considered road worthy.

The speed sure not exceed 10km，C200 is unscathed that just fender surface grazed a little!

Which part is the strongest on lower control arm? steering knuckle? body of lower control arm? or front bushing? rear bushing? linkage?
What is linkage?
Linkage is in the front bushing, allways be called bolt!
Since 2014,GM desing a new structure bolt!Named Spllit-type bushing.
In fact the split bushing is a split-type bolt in bushing!

According to incomplete statistics, more than 150 case about split-type bushing falls off, Mainly is the Buick Envison!I privately get a information that falls off were far outnumbered 150. But ，SGM（GM） declined to comment on our interpellation， AQSIQ of China said
if Start the investigation after complaints exceed 300 number case！

Infact,I get information that surprising number of split-type bushing falls of !Just myself,I record at least 150 case!Include Buick Envision,Buick Verano,Buick new EXCELLE, Chevrolet Cruze,Buick a new generation of lacrosse,Chevrolet Cavalier, these are all split-type bushing!

In 2015，I record 12 of Buick Envision ,1 of Buick New EXCELLE;
In 2016，I record 55 of Buick Envision, 9 of Buick New EXCELLE,1 of Chevrolet New Cruze,6 of Buick Verano
In 2017，I record 43 of Buick Envision 5 of Buick Verano，1 of Buick New EXCELLE , 1 of Buick NEW lacrosse

attachments picture is clear show that split-type bushing plastic deformation,and this Envision doesn't have the accident! Drvier tell us ,He find the front tire has wear and tear,then see bushing plastic deformation,He feel frightened and have to drive carefully to replace the lower control arm,and have to Reinforce the structure!

I get a information that SGM will chang the split-type bushing to onepiece bushing（bolt） on 2018 New Envision stealthily，GM salesman want to placate us ，say just Facelift on front suspension because for release NEW newmodels !It's funny!

Infact ,This is a potential hazard! Bolt in bushing must be a solid,Split-type bushing is less strong than solid!
Solid bolt is very strong,Please IIHS25%,See picture different
Picture 1 is 2016 Malibu,same split-type bushing

You can find split-type bushing falls off,but solid bolt bushing still on carframe!

Split-type bushing is easy to falls off ,we test about 10KM speed the wheels be struck,split-type maybe plastic deformation,even falls off.

I hope you can tell NHTSA to test the split-type bushing if you think it necessary,split-type bushing should be replace by solid bolt bushing!

We all used same structure on bushing,so ,you will face same problem,The design was fatally flawed from the start.
We should to prevent the disaster ,if you can help me you will help yourself! Please see attachments ,you will find GM new alternative solution!
China Buick Equinox is applied a solid bolt bushing on lower control arm ,and the lower control arm can also install on Envision! Why?Who would have thought of such a thing?Same lower control arm have different bolt!One is split-type the other is onepiece solid bolt!
I think that You need to consider :why?

Infact ,GM is aware of the split-type defects very clear,but they are had a bear by the tail ever since they applied on multiple models during 2014.8 to 2015.8,hundreds of thousands of Envisions delivering it to customers ,butthe damage has been done! Not only that,Several other models were applied same split-type bushing!More than millions of vehicles builde by GM,have been shipped worldwide in the past 3 years!
The high cost of the recall,GM Trying to hide faultiness design!
