Need Some Help Please

Hi everyone, just joined the forum and I have a question I hope someone can help me with. Current ride is a 2018 Equinox, very seriously considering an Envision as my next vehicle. I would like to know some dimensions of the rear cargo area so I can get an idea how it compares to the Equinox. Need to know: distance from backseat to rear hatch, distance between wheel wells, and distance from floor to roof near rear hatch. Thanks in advance for your help, hopefully I get an Envision and start posting on here regularly. This forum needs more action.;)

I have a '21 and will try to remember to get those measurements. From prior research, I can tell you the cargo area of the Envision is 4-5 cubic feet smaller than the Equinox.

Size is my only complaint with my '21. Great vehicle but just a tad too small. Will definitely be going with something a bit larger when my current lease ends.
Thanks so much divotdug. I knew the cargo area was that much smaller but want to see what the difference is in "usable space" if that makes sense.

Here are the measurements of the cargo area on my '21. I tried to measure from the narrowest points.

From backseat to the hatch is 33".
Side to side is 40"
Floor to ceiling is 28"
Perfect, thank you. Just wondering, what are you thinking of getting for your next vehicle?

Also, when you measured from the backseat to the hatch, did you measure from the top of the seat or the bottom? There's quite a difference in my Equinox.

My current lease isn't up for another 18 months so I have time to ponder my next vehicle. My last lease was an '18 GMC Acadia. Nice vehicle but just a tad too big.

Right now I would be leaning towards either a Chevy Blazer or Caddy XT5. My son is a Subaru service advisor so his family discount may push me towards a Subaru Outback.

On the backseat measurement, I measured from the bottom of the seat. I can always do the other measurement tomorrow morning.
Blazer and Caddy are both nice, Blazer is on my short list. Considered a Subaru also but nearest dealer is a 5 hour drive. I don't need that other measurement, thanks anyways.
