Hello All ... my wife & I traded in our Cadillac XT5 & XT4 for a 2022 Envision Essence & an Envision Essence ST. So far, so good! I used to say that only "older" people drove Buicks but they've done a great job of updating their products and marketing to a younger demographic. Our only disappointment is that we cannot find a rear cargo mat other than Weather Tech. I have nothing against Weather Tech products but I wish there were some alternatives. It appears that GM only makes all-weather front & rear mats but stopped making cargo area liners a few years ago for the Envision. All in all though, we're very happy with our two new Envisions.

I was wondering if any of your Envisions have the cargo area cover? The area appears to be made for the cover, with the hinge pins by the rear seats and attachments on the lift gate, but I haven't found one. Mine is a 2022 also and we have had it since Oct 2021.

Roger, my wife & I decided not to get the cargo mats. I drive only about 5,000 miles per year and only keep a case with emergency equipment back there. I rarely, if ever put anything else back there. My wife drives more than I do (about 10,000 per year) but the only thing she put in there are small bags of groceries. We keep our cars very clean, so we decided we didn't need them. At least until the first spill! :)

I ask about the cover, not the mate. The cover should go below the windows and on top of the wheel wells. If you look at the top of the wheel wells, you should see a horizontal grove, going from the rear seat to the lift gate opening. The cover is hinged by those pins, by the rear seat and there are cords that hook on the lift gate. When the lift gate goes up, the cords open the cargo cover. It’s more of a security thing, keeping people from seeing what’s in the cargo area. I have seen the cargo covers on many other SUVs, the Envision is made for one, but I have never seen any. That is why I ask you if the newer Envisions had them.

Ahh, OK. My wife has the "ST" package and hers in fact does have the cover you refer to. Mine is the Envision Essence and does not have it.
Thanks for the info, i have found pictures of the cover, but have not found it in the accessories. But ironically I did find the cargo mates. We have been looking for that also. Here is a link.
