new Old Man Buick

Have had our NEW 17 Envision Essence for just 2 weeks. Was a left over car, got a good deal. Just took our first trip in it from Central Illinois to South west Michigan to get some fruit (peaches, blue berries, pears). Car did real well. Steering felt real light at first (is electric), but got used to it. Averaged 29.8 mpg, saw 30.2 mpg on the trip. Car only has 1200 miles on it now. Real quiet, rode real nice. I'm trying to figure how to get rid of the start/stop technology. Have looked on line, 19"s have a built in switch and wondered if it can be retrofitted. Will be gone soon. Otherwise really like the car. Not too many in our area. Only saw a few on the rode on our trip.

There's an easy $139 solution to the start stop Issue.Look on this website. I have attached links to the solution In the thread on this site. That also was the only thing I didn't like about our 2017 Premium one...

No joke, 139 bucks including shipping, and a 5 to 10 minute installation depending on how neat and fancy you want to be, even for a novice. If you know how to plug a lamp into the wall, you can do this! :)And it doesn't mess with the PCM or ECM.

And welcome from Michigan!
