a year ago we bought an Encore GX ST for our daughter and it has all 3 of these features - blind spot, rear parking assist, cross traffic alert. I drove it for a few weeks before we gave it to her as a gift. We enjoyed that car and used those 3 features each time we drove!

We were looking at the Envision today and noticed omission of these 3 things. THEY ARE ONLY GIVING A $350 credit! Honestly that’s laughable. It’s 2023 and those are 3 things that basically should be standard at this point. To buy a new car without those 3 things is pretty ridiculous. Yeah, the car was $4k off, but it should be much more than that. Buying a car without those things in 2023 is basically like buying a car with roll up windows! So to pay $37k for a car without those things is just sad.

I just bought a 2023 10 days ago and it has blind spot and cross traffic, the rear parking assist is an add on at a later date when chips are available. Not sure how I got these 2 options, I'm assuming it was an early build date that took a long time for delivery. I also did not have heated seats or a second key fob. Pleasantly surprised that both are available now and should be installed next week. I agree that any car should have those options but if you got 4k off I would not complain too loudly as deals like that are next to impossible to find the last couple of years.

Our 2023 Envision Avenir was built between Oct 1st and 9th, we bought it new with 2 miles on it and the dealers discounted it $7K off sticker, Our build date sticker shows 10/22, yet all of our options were included other than a 2nd key fob and the heated seats, which did have the retrofit included on the original window sticker. So yesterday our local Buick dealer ordered the parts to complete the recall, now as I mentioned in my own post, if your Envision was built "AFTER October 10th 2022"? these features listed are no longer available on many Envisions, you have to read the window sticker very closely before purchase.....it will read: (Beginning October 10, 2022, certain vehicles will be forced to include (00S) Not Equipped with Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert and Rear Cross Traffic Alert, which removes Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert and Rear Cross Traffic Alert. Does not include later dealer retrofit
