Proud Owner 2016 Buick Envision

I took my 2014 Buick Enclave into my Buick dealer for service and while waiting for the service, wondered into the new car showroom to see the new Envision. I really had no plans to buy a new car. I was just looking. When the sales manager saw my 2 year old vehicle with only 8,000 miles on it, the offers began. I drove the Envision, fell in love with it and received an offer I couldn't refuse. As a result, I'm the proud owner of a new Buick Envision Premium II. This car is amazing. The way it handles, the more than adequate power, the ride, the quiet and the fit and finish. Mine is the bronze exterior with the neutral interior. I especially like the HUD (heads up display) that puts your speed and tach on the windshield right in front of you.

What options did it come with and how much did you end up paying for it with your trade in?

Sorry, but I don't discuss financial details on the internet. Suffice it to say I was given a couple of incentives to help get me out of my then current lease. The fact that the residual is set at 65% for a three year lease also helped tremendously.

The only options on the vehicle was $395 for the color and $1,495 for a sun roof. Being a Premium II, almost everything was standard including navigation.
I've been a loyal Buick customer for the past 10 years and I've leased a number of cars from the same dealer. I do get some preferential treatment.

I'm not much of a Chrysler fan. The last one I owned was a 1982 Chrysler Le Baron convertible. It was a good little car and I enjoyed driving it around in the warm Phoenix sun.

That goes a long way. I'm sure by now you know the service manager and all.
I bet they even give you some nice loaners when required!

I've had one loaner car in the past 3 decades and that was for a Cadillac SRX they had a recall on. Very seldom have I taken a Buick in for anything more than regular maintenance.
I see you bought a '16 Envision. A Premium II in the Bronze/Light Neutral color combination. Do you by any chance live in the Phoenix area, and bought it recently from Liberty Buick in Peoria, AZ?

Also, how do you like it?

Tom

I do live in Phoenix and I did lease it from Liberty Buick. It's probably the fifth or sixth vehicle I've gotten from them. Great dealer.

The more I drive this car, the better I like it. The seats are really comfortable and as it gets broken in, the engine gets more responsive and zips through traffic without any effort. I finally figured out the DIC by reading the instruction book. It's the only thing that wasn't user friendly. I haven't tried out the Wi-Fi hotspot yet, but will do that soon. Handling is superb. It is just a fun car to drive, like the Encore but so much more comfortable.
