Occaisionally when shifting from D to R after a complete stop, there is a "clunk'' from under the car where the differential is.
2019 Envision Premiere AWD. Anyone ever had this occur and if so what was the cause and/or cure?
Thanks for any ideas.

Well I had a Buick/GMC service dept check the driveline and all related mounts, struts, etc and they could not duplicate the noise.
So unless/until something completely breaks or falls off I am just figuring it must be ok.

Today I had a thought and serched for Buick Technical Service Bulletins for transmission bulletins..
and gues what I found?
The excact thing I was concerned about is called "lash".
It is actually a normal condition as there has to be some play in the gear train when changing shift positions.
Not a service item and completly normal.
All this fuss I my part for no reason.
But glad I did find this out.
