seat programming

Are you holding the number 2 button to move the seat. You have to hold it until the seat moves into position if I remember correctly.

The way it works, you have to wait a few seconds after the car starts. First you have to program the "Seat 2" position. You do this by setting up the seat and mirrors they way you need them. Then you press and hold the "Seat 2" button down until you hear it beep twice. That means it has been programed.

Then press "Seat 1" to move it back where the wife has it set. Then press "Seat 2" only briefly so that it beeps once, and the seat should move to the position you set it to.

If this does not work, you need to take the car to the dealer because that is the process for programming and using the seat/mirror save control. Good luck.

trying to program not move to programmed position. Wont program
