Just wondering if anyone here has used this feature and what you think of it. Only had the vehicle a few days and have not tried it yet. I think I will be a little apprehensive the first couple of times not being in control of the car. Too many years of driving old tech cars.
Self Parking Feature

To be honest I felt the same way. The first time I tried self park backing in and half way through the process I hit the breaks, I didn't trust it. About two weeks later I tried again this time trusting the Envision and it parked perfectly. Sometimes new tech takes getting used to.
I own a 2018 version and it works very well. You have to drive fairly slowly for it to find a space, but my wife, who hates parallel parking loves the system as it allows her to park parallel on the street - and it does it perfectly every time as long as you drive slow enough to it to sense a spot and tell you to stop. Drive to fast and you will pass spots that the car will fit but it won't sense.

Have a 2021 Envision Avenir and every time i use parking assist it doesn't find a space. Tried it on an empty parking and took forever. Anyone have this issue?
