I would definitely try to contact the dealer about that one. Not too sure if it'll be a diy solution.
SiriusXM Upgrade Needed
My 2016 Envision was bought in Mexico and did not come with SiriusXM.
Does anyone know if there is an Infotainment software upgrade to enable this or is a hardware upgrade required?

Thanks. Dealer doesn't seem to know. Sirius isn't licensed in Mexico, so no cars can come equipped with it. Seems like the Chinese would be cranking them out the same regardless of destination, with only software/firmware enablement required. I know some Japanese and Korean cars are like that.
Maybe you can externally get a transmitter and set that up?
