Looks like the stop/start function can be deactivated!
Driven by customer feedback, the 2019 Envision is equipped with a non-latching stop/start deactivation switch on the instrument panel that allows the driver to choose whether to use the auto-stop function. The calibration of the Envision's stop/start technology has also been refined for an even more seamless experience

Other notable changes include 9 speed box plus more horses for the 2.0 engine, wireless phone charging, ionizer, LED headlights and better surround camera quality.

The torque has been bumped to highest in class of all 2.0T engines to 295 lb-ft. That is with zero ethanol or E0. But most gas stations in the US and Canada use 10% ethanol or E10 so torque is actually over +300 lb-ft.

I'm running Camaro ecu torwue numbers in my 2016 Prem 2.0T and it is very noticeable for 35 lb-ft increase.

I think in the future we will be seeing a 10 speed transmission come to market but that will be once they have implemented it in other models. It will be a great way to slightly improve on MPG's especially in the city.

Correction to my post. Ponies stay the same, but torque is increased and 0-60 is supposed to be slighthly quicker.
Also wonder if an Avenir trim is planned.

Cant understate how great it is having the ability to disable the start/stop feature. Another important note is that the new model costs $2,000 less to get behind the wheel of a base model. Obviously that will come with additional savings to be found at every single trim level. The 2019 model also has better HID headlights included on every model except for those that are turbocharged, which move to LED emitters.

I love start/stop and for years have done my own when stuck at bank drive thru. I only wish it lasted for longer durations and .ore frequency.
