Well after reading all the posts and doing some more research I switched to regular after using premium for just over a year. Two tanks later I can't tell any difference in mileage or performance.

This has got my husband really bugged! Hoping to buy a 2022 Envision Essence, AWD, as soon as we can find one. I told him we might have to use 91 octane (highest available where we live) and he is pitching a fit. I asked him to compromise at 89 octane. Jury is still out if he'll compromise. Thoughts anyone?

Tell your husband the manual of the 22 says 87 octane can be used. I am on a trip now and only use 87 octane gas and have no problems. I have been able to find 87 octane gas for less than $3.00 a gallon in KY.

I have a 2019 Premium 1 that I use 91 in. That is the no ethanol grade.
However when the tank gets to 1/2 I then fill with 87.
Then at the next 1/2 tankI again use 91.
Have experiened no decrease in power or gas mileage this way.
So in my thinking that is that 91+87divided by 2=89, right? Around here 91 is $4.55 and 87 is $3.67.
But in an 800 mile round trip to northern MN with 3 adults and a weeks worth of fishing gear, food and luggage, I used 91 grade at each fill.
