So we got our 2022 envision last October, and we’re told that the heated seats part will be in in a couple weeks. Fast forward 4 months, we finally got them!!!! But are they any good? Well for myself I am very disappointed with them. On their highest setting you can barely feel the heat. Yes I know it’s better than nothing but I would expect more from a car of that value. We had the 2018 equinox and you could really feel the heat. The high setting on the Buick is the low setting on any other heated seat. Then let’s look at the cooled/vented seats, same problem. Other vented seats I’ve been on get very cold. These ones are pathetic, I can barely feel it through my jeans. I myself am very disappointed with this and this alone will make me never get a Buick again if this is how it will be.

Still waiting on my heated seat retrofit on my 2023, but the heated steering wheel will melt my hands off if left on too long...

The heated seats in my 17 Essence are great. On the high setting you can almost have "Hot crossed buns"!! I don't care for how you raise/lower the settings. Way to much attention to what you are doing there VS my driving. You can have the heated seats come on automatically by changing a setting in the infotainment center. Go to: Instruments & Controls/Vehicle personalization/auto heated seats, at least for my 17, should be similiar in other years). By turning on the auto seats, they will come on when the car temp is below a certain temperature, mine is by default around 43*, temperature they come on at is not changable, but you can shut them off/on/adjust as necessary/desired. They will just come back on automaticllly when below that temp next time the car is started. Best feature is my heated steeriing wheel. Best accessory in the car. Love my Chinese Buick!!!!!

MY 2021 Essence ST has no issues with the heated seats, as a matter of fact they get quite hot on the 3rd dot...maybe a chip issue

My 2021 Avenir has no issues with heating or cooling also. Almost too hot on the highest setting and the same for cooling. As Steven stated, you might have some kind of issue with control...

Same here, can be too hot on hottest or too cold on coldest, which seems prefect to me!
