WeatherTech vs GM Accessories

I have purchase several WeatherTech products in the past. I do like their product(s) but there are a few things that have plagued me about them. One is that the black all weather floor mats will start to look bad (worn) once they have been used for awhile. One's shoes will tend to leave unsightly scrape or dirty markings on them. Somewhat hard to clean and they are not very flexible and also can start bend or warp and may not stay straight or can bow out along the middle side edges. Sometimes they can interfere with the gas pedal if they start to warp too much. Now they have products that help clean and coat them and they do look good once completed. However, the coating tends to wear off fairly quickly leaving a worn out or rough looking finish.

In comes GM with their new freshly designed accessory products. Their All weather floor mats look amazing great. They are much more pliable (rubbery-flexible) than the WeatherTech ones thus they will lay very snug along the sides and also overlap the edges which to me helps protect the carpets better too. Take a look and see what you think about the GM version vs WeatherTech .

Edit: I am sorry I cannot post any photo links until I get up to 10 Posts. So I will come back and post photos once I reach 10 posts.

I had weather tech in 2012 enclave we traded for 2017 Envision. I prefer the GM mats. Attached to floor like factory mats so they can't move. Pliable. Less expensive.

I have the GM mats and they are considerably thicker that the Weather Tech. They lay flat and don't curl up on the edges. However, after several snows, they do look a little scruffy.

I suppose the main advantage to weather tech mats is their lifetime limited warranty..and they fact that they ship to your door. I suppose the color preference changes from person to person, but I prefer the all black look. Do the weather tech mats not come with spaces for the pegs to keep them attached to the floor?
We bought the WeatherTech for our 18 Envision because I was told we had to have brown to match the neutral. They do not fit well at all, they slide back and forth leaving a gap on either side. I have caught my foot in entrance/egress a few times. Although the set purchase for our fEquinox fit perfectly this is not the case with the Envision. I would recommend getting the Buick version, don't know who manufactures it but seems to be made to fit correctly. They only make black though, hence we bought the WeatherTech.
Just an update, I posted separately as well. I reached out to customer service to no avail, I also emailed the chairman and never heard back. This is my 3rd and last car with WeatherTech, this time they are not what they advertised. The front fit is terrible as they are smaller than the well I don't care what they say. Too bad I could easily live with that if it was the back seat but no it turns out to be the front seat pair. I will never buy their products again. I wish I bought the Buick ones from the dealer.
