With a new 2021 Envision, I was frankly shocked to learn that there was no storage area covering to conceal belongings in the rear cargo compartment and that one cannot be purchased as an after-market accessory. I have never seen this before. How this is possible?

And on a thread currently running, I have already noted that the Envision is one of the vehicle on the road that has a glass insert at the A pillar, which allows for wind noise at highway speeds.

This vehicle has much going for it, but it also has some unusual quirks that should have been addressed and that make it a less atrractive choice. I frankly regret having bought the vehicle.

I leased an '18 Acadia prior to my '21 Envision. The cargo cover was not standard on that vehicle. I believe there are a number of vehicles where the cargo cover is an option.

A safe bet that if Buick had used a solid insert on the "A" pillar instead of a glass insert, there would be folks complaining about it being a blind spot.

I have a 21 Essence ST and have the cargo cover as well....CRAZY you can't order one if indeed that is the case...I have no wind noise either that someone else mentions, maybe I lucked out, I love my car but sometimes I think it has a mind of it's own when steering on certain winding roads here in NC which can be scary.

That is so odd. I bought mine from the dealer for my 2018 in 2020 with no problem. Did they discontinue making it, or is it a parts shortage and it is just not available right now?

Computerman, I am in Louisiana. Is there a reason yours is not being used? It seems that there was a cargo cover for Envision models before 2021, but the 2021 model does not come with one, and the dealership and other car businesses have told me that Buick does not make one for the 2021 model.

My only other comment concerns utility. The cargo compartment is quite small unless the rear seats are folded down. With a cover in place, the cargo area is really small.

I bought mine (an Essense) from Barker Buick in Houma. It came with a black cover. The reason I don't use it, and probably won't use it, is (1) the stuff I put in sometimes is taller than the cover, and (2) When I use it, it's so black I forget it's there and bonk my head on it with the rear hatch open. So, I wonder if we could meet up. I'm not supposed to put phone or emails on this forum. I do have a facebook ID. just use the FB web URL, slash, mycomputerman.

Reading though the posts about the 2021 Envision w/ no rear Cargo Cover yes, very true on most models but I’m here to let you know what the part # is [# 84891422 Shade ] is how it is marked/listed in the OEM gmparts.com there is a two week delivery on this item as it has to be shipped from Michigan. Any questions feel free to reply

I hope this helps out.
